October is Auto Battery Safety Month, an important period of time which is dedicated to educating drivers of the dangers of car batteries. Approximately 6,000 motorists each year suffer serious eye injuries and other casualties as a result of working with car batteries. That's why during this month extra dedication is put towards sending out guides and other material that explains how to properly jump-start a vehicle and how your battery can be damaged if this procedure is not carried out correctly.
