I've Been COPD COPD Awareness Month |
|
 |
| COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) is a smoking-related respiratory illness commonly known as chronic bronchitis, emphysema or "smoker's lung." An estimated 24 to 30 million Americans have COPD, but only about 16 million have been diagnosed. In fact, COPD is the nation's fourth leading fatal disease and was responsible for 119,000 deaths last year.

Of course the best way to bring about a reduction in the number of death's by COPD is through further no smoking campaigns. If you want to encourage your clients or employees to quit smoking try using customized cigarette box stress balls. This is a great way for your clients and employees to crush the habit!
Another great way to promote lung health is with lung-shaped stress balls. Lung heatlh should be a concern for us all and with the lung-shaped stress balls it is a healthy alternative to lighting up a cigarette.
The main goal of this month is to encourage further awareness of COPD, the best way to do this is with awareness bracelets. Awareness bracelets are a trendy item. A lot of people these days are wearing them for one cause or another. This popular item would be great to further awareness of COPD.
