Every year, since 2001, Setember 11th has been designated to celebrate Patriot Day. This day is dedicated to the memory of the nearly 3,000 people that died. Patriot Day was made into a national holiday so that we, as a country, would remember to take a certain amount of time out of our day to commemorate the heroes of 9/11. Each and every American is encouraged to recognize Patriot Day in their own special way.
