Safe Schools Week

Safe School’s Week was started in 1984 and is held annually during the third week of October. The National School Safety Center promotes safe and secure school environments for students of all ages.  Teachers, parents, and administrators are encouraged to promote healthy conflict resolution and community building within their school systems.

School safety includes keeping campuses free of crime and violence, improving discipline, and increasing student attendance.  Creating a safe school plan for all the schools in the district is a great idea to keep everyone organized and educated in case of an emergency.  Type the plan up into a promotional brochure and give it to school employees.  You could also send kids home with some sort of newsletter as well.

Make sure elementary level students know violence is never the answer by passing out stress ball key chains with your personalized imprint stamped right on it.  If your students are a high school age give them custom folders to put all their work in and carry from class to class.  Let ePromos help you make schools a safer place!
