Challenge: How to show appreciation to people who were both customers and sports fans.
The National Hockey League wanted to provide a special recognition gift for the 130 suite holders of the new NHL hockey team – the Minnesota Wild. The recognition gift needed to directly recognize hockey and have a high-perceived value to the suite holders.
Solution: A promotional crystal thank you gift was created.
A clear crystal hockey puck was created for the promotion. The hockey puck emulated the look and feel of an actual regulation hockey puck. The crystal hockey puck was then hand etched with the Minnesota Wild logo and mounted on a black glass base. Perfectly hand etched on the black glass base was the name of the presenting organization with the inaugural season dates of the Minnesota Wild.
Result: The gifts were well received and got fans excited about the games.
The suite holders were truly honored to receive such a beautiful gift. As true hockey fans, each suite holder has placed the beautiful crystal hockey puck in a highly noticeable place for everyone to appreciate.
