A regional cement company orders custom calendars every year through their advertising specialty distributor. Through the years, they have found that calendars given to individuals in the construction industry need to be large and durable so that managers will put them on office walls.
Solution: A custom 6-sheet executive hanger calendar
A special 6-sheet hanger calendar measuring 18” x 26” was printed with 6 months of the year on one side and the other 6 months on the second side. Each sheet displayed the plant’s name and logo underneath the picture and the company’s many locations and corresponding phone numbers. The customer supplied 12 full-color images of their facilities and equipment in action in order to make the calendar relevant and fun. Twin-loop binding and wire hanging loop at the top were used to make the calendar sturdy. The monthly calendar was custom designed to compliment the customer’s artwork with plenty of space to make notes on project dates. The entire calendar was printed on heavy gloss stock for durability and the twin-loop binding allowed the recipient to keep the 6 sheets intact all year as a record of activity.
Result: Made a lasting impression on customers.
At the end of the year, the manager sent some of the calendars out to current accounts with a thank-you letter for their business. The rest of the calendars went to businesses he would like as accounts, along with a letter of introduction and informational materials. They were well-accepted and a hit with customers.
