In the past, Harry Caray’s Restaurant has given away a great assortment of products including golf umbrellas, cookie baskets, mugs, and signed baseballs, but they cited that “water bottles were a bigger hit.” Unlike previous holiday gift products, these sports bottles served as a successful and cost-efficient marketing and advertising tool. With Harry Caray’s business dependent upon customers from the local community, the opportunity to advertise wherever recipients carry their bottles around the city has provided them with tremendous publicity, making it an undeniably successful promotional, holiday gift.
