An engraving company wanted to promote their company, products, and services to textile printers and converters who were previous customers. The company wanted something practical that would act like a billboard for their company while still saying “thanks for your business.”
Solution: A custom calendar was created for the company.
A custom laminated time management span-a-year calendar was devised specifically for the company. The calendar touted poster-style, single-sheets with tinned top and bottom, custom colors to reinforce the corporate identity, a calendar grid with countdown of days elapsed and remaining in the year, a laminated surface with erasable marker included, and ample ad area that displayed the company name and contact information for their four different locations.
Result: Customers received a practical and useful gift that reminded them of the quality service provided by the company.
The utility value and high visibility made this calendar especially attractive. This large calendar was big enough for impact and made up where other calendars would have lacked. They were mailed in tubes to existing customers along with a letter from the president of the company thanking them for their past business and expressed a desire for future business. They also personally handed the calendar to potential customers when the sales staff was making a cold call. The company plans to reorder and add a phantom overprint to the calendar.
