Challenge: Promote hair-care products to clients.
A hair-product distributor wanted a unique item that would be able to communicate the benefits of their products while building awareness for their brand. The item also had to demonstrate the array of products available for purchase and how to get them.
Solution: A custom appointment calendar.
A hair-product distributor ordered custom calendars with front covers that displayed the complete line of products and an artful design. The hair-product logo was displayed throughout the calendar to reinforce the visual presence. The calendars were then distributed to salons that carried their products. The salons could order the calendars with their own advertisement and then hand them out to customers by the salons as a “thank-you” gift. One salon also had an open house and invited customers in for hair demonstrations and gave the calendar out when they registered for a drawing for free hair care products.
Result: Calendar was practical for recipients and a great reminder of brand quality.
The calendar acted as an informative reminder of the quality products. The calendar provided a unique and useful way to remind people of the various products available to them. This successful calendar will be refreshed every year as new products are introduced.
