Challenge: Find a product that promotes Halloween safety
An insurance company, in conjunction with the March of Dimes foundation, was looking to come up with a product to hand out to children around Halloween season. They needed something that would be practical and could also get their message across effectively.
Solution: Gifts were handed out at local corn mazes
The company decided to use lanyards to promote both themselves and the organization they were sponsoring. At a local corn maze, representatives handed out Reflective Lanyards for children to wear while they were trick-or-treating. The company had one side of the lanyard imprinted with their local office information, and the other side provided information about donating to the March of Dimes foundation.
Result: Children celebrated a safe Halloween
Parents particularly loved the lanyards because they helped ensure thier children were seen trick-or-treating when it got dark. Also, the product could be used time and time again, creating a long lasting promotion for both the insurance agency and the March of Dimes foundation.
