|Challenge: Generate booth traffic at an upcoming national trade show.
A manufacturer of metal fabricated products wanted to find a way to get more people to their booth during an upcoming trade show. They also wanted a way to advertise their brand and gain exposure for the company.
Solution: A desktop organizer, half of which was sent in a direct mail package that encouraged visitors to pick up the other half at the trade show.
A targeted mailing was sent with information regarding the new product offerings the company was going to unveil at the show. The theme of the mailing was “Together, it’s a snap.” The clients received the top half of a Desk Caddy by VisionUSA with a notice instructing them to bring the piece to the booth to snap together the desktop gift. The base of the holder was given to clients at the event, giving the manufacturer an opportunity to meet prospects and introduce their new products. A post-trade show mailing included a promotional ruler imprinted with the message “Measuring up to any challenge.”
Result: Increased booth traffic and great exposure for the company.
The company saw a huge increase in the amount of booth traffic during the trade show. Nearly every prospect who received part of the desk organizer came by for the other half. After the show, sales people noticed the imprinted desk organizer on their clients’ desks, providing round-the-clock exposure for the manufacturer.
