Challenge: Find a practical gift to garner awareness
A Medical Center was looking for ways to both promote their special care nursery and rally funding to assist continued operations. The medical center also knew that parents-to-be and new mothers and fathers would need time management assistance. Armed with this knowledge and a desire to reach out to the general public, the medical center sought to pick a gift that would both raise awareness and be practical for day to day use!
Solution: Custom newborn appointment calendar
The medical center took into account the people who most benefit from awareness and continued support of the medical center are also the people scheduling Lamaze classes and other birth-related plans. With this in mind medical center decided to sell a custom appointment calendar featuring full color photos of newborns in the special care nursery. The calendars were sold in the medical centers gift shop and nurses sold the calendars at conventions.
Results: Calendars were very well-received
The calendars were a success! The calendar’s raised awareness of the medical centers special care nursery. Not only that, but the calendars were a source of fiscal support. The special care nursery was able to gross $3,700 from the calendars sale!
