| Challenge: How to meet funraising goals for a non-profit organization. A non profit company wanted to raise awareness of communicable diseases among an at-risk section of the city. The company decided to sponsor a golf tournament as a fundraiser for a new project. The company needed 60 people to participate in order to reach their fundraising goal. Solution: An elaborate plan including crystal golf awards were used to gain participants. The company decided to invite reputable business people from throughout the community to raise funds, play golf, and enjoy a $1,000 plate dinner. The company garnered the support of a golf course, who donated their course for the day, as well as a local restuarant who provided their banquet room and meals. The crystal golf award was ordered in small, medium, and large awards to reward the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Result:The golf tournament raises funds and creates a heightened sense of community. The golf tournament fundraiser was successful, raising over $70,000 for the new initiative. The golf award winners were especially grateful for the jade crystal awards because it represented their contribution to the community. |
