A savings bank needed a creative thank-you gift for its banking customers that would not only provide them with the utility of organization that they both needed and wanted, but that would also provide the customers with relevant information about the bank’s policies and procedures.
Solution: A pocket calendar with room for storage
The savings bank decided to use a pocket calendar to say “thank you” to their customers. The monthly pockets provide a location for storing bills, receipts and more. Customers look forward to receiving the calendar each year and the bank knows that it reminds them of the services provided at each area location. Customization of the covers gives room to display pertinent information regarding the bank. Each branch office gives the calendars out in early November so customers who vacation during the winter months have their calendars ready for the new year.
Result: The calendars were a big hit
The savings bank has now given them out for several years, and each year customers ask about the calendars one or sometimes even two months prior to their distribution. The pocket calendar has maintained retention and has worked as a gift of gratitude and thanks to customers.
