Challenge: Promote services for a teacher’s credit union
A teacher’s credit union needed a way to promote their services to customers. Knowing that the teachers’ schedules were extremely hectic, the credit union wanted to provide them with something that would promote the bank but also aid the teachers by supplying them with a tool to remain organized.
Solution: A promotional custom academic planner
Upon advice from their distributor, they decided to create a custom pocket-size planner. They devised the planner to run from August to August to follow the school year. In order to make it more organized for teachers to jot down appointments and important dates, each month was also shown on a two-page spread and had ample room for notes. Also, the front and back covers were printed inside and out with information about the credit union. Finally, to add even more information, an extra sheet was bound inside that contained a quick reference list of services the teachers could expect through membership with the credit union The handy planner was then distributed to educators attending a teachers conference that was held before the start of the school year.
Result: The planner enhanced the credit union’s pubic image and was a helpful tool for teachers
Each time the planner was used, it reminded teachers of the credit union’s services. By promoting with the planner, the credit union had an increase of 36 new members. The planner was so successful they plan on ordering next year, when they are scheduled to attend a teachers conference in a neighboring town.
