Logoed Pouches of Scented Antibacterial Wet Wipes Increase Name Recognition for the North Carolina Farm Bureau
Challenge: To find a useful promotional product that promotes and “improves lives.”
The North Carolina Farm Bureau (NCFB) is a non-profit, grassroots organization serving nearly half a million member families throughout North Carolina. Besides offering traditional banking services to its members—mortgages, student loans, credit cards and deposit services—the NCFB also actively promotes farm and rural issues through governmental relations, marketing, field representation and agricultural education, as well as by offering additional member benefits, such as insurance—from auto and long-term care to workers comp and crop coverage—and discounts on a wide range of products and services of interest to members.
The Bureaus’ overarching goal today is the same as it has been for decades—to improve the lives of Farm Bureau members. That’s why, when they recently turned to ePromos Account Executive Max Katz, for a promotional product to increase name recognition in local communities, as well as to educate the public as to the core values and mission of the organization, the NCFB staff sought a product that, too, would improve the lives of all who received it. The product—whatever they selected—would be given to potential new members and members, as well as to NCFB agents to distribute to various communities at local fairs.
Solution: Logoed pouches of antibacterial wet wipes smell good—and promote well.
After exploring various alternatives, staff selected logoed, promotional packages of lavender-scented antibacterial wet-wipes in a small, re-sealable pouch with the Farm Bureau logo imprinted on a white closure label. Their choice, helping to keep people germ-free and healthy, fit the NCFB mission of improving lives; it was also easy on logistics—the small wipe cases are easy to carry, distribute and mail.
Result: Multiple reorders indicates yet another promotional success.
The NCFB staff reports that agents, members and prospective members alike enjoyed receiving the practical, useful wipes. And staff was so pleased with the overall results of the promotion that they’ve since reordered the wipes numerous times.
