A Successful Calendar for Eight Years Running!
Challenge: Promote line to boat motor enthusiasts

A manufacturer of high performance boat motors wanted to promote their line of products to buyers and retailers of boat motors. The manufacturer needed an alternative means by which to attract attention to their complete line of products that would flatter the brand and be useful to customers.

Solution: A custom appointment calendar with poster

A custom appointment calendar with poster was devised specifically for the client, using twelve full-color photographs as well as a photo for the outside front cover that were all supplied by the client. The calendar was given a “retail look” with a bold, custom designed calendar grid that incorporated a different full-color motor image and description each month. A twin-loop binding with drop ad for individual retailer imprints was also utilized. Finally, a fold-out poster was also provided by the manufacturer and included with the calendar.

Result: The calendars have been a success for the past 8 years!

Order forms were created to streamline the ordering process. The flier was mailed out twice and dealers responded by filling out the order form on the back of the flier with quantity, imprint information and shipping information. The shipments were sent out to each dealer within a few weeks from the time the flyers were returned. Then, the dealers distributed the calendars to their customers, either by mailing or placing them on the counters for pickup. Both the dealers and their customers were very excited to receive the stunning calendars. This program has been an amazing promotion for the last eight years.
