Psychiatric Hospital Raises Awareness with Artistic Appointment Calendar

Challenge: Raise awareness of psychiatric programs
A psychiatric hospital wanted to raise awareness of its services throughout the community, particularly in cases of mental health and substance abuse problems. The psychiatric hospital wanted to show the general public the array of programs they offer for people suffering, so they needed a giveaway that would visually highlight both the hospital’s service and the hospital itself.
Solution: A custom spiral-appointment calendar with pertinent information regarding hospital’s services
The psychiatric hospital decided to utilize a product that would be frequently looked at, on a day to day basis. They ultimately decided upon a spiral appointment calendar. The calendar featured bright, colorful artwork created by patients who were currently in their therapeutic programs. On the inside of the back cover, there was a list of all the hospital’s services and contact information. Because the target audience was the general public, the hospital handed out the calendars at community functions.
Result: Increased awareness of programs and gave the hospital positive exposure
The appointment calendar, with its day to day practical use offered great exposure for the hospital. The positive effects of the programs offered were reinforced by the vivid artwork by patients featured throughout the calendar.
