The promotional gift is an item, given by a company to a potential client, that has the logo, phone number, name of the company, address of the company, or anything else that the company wants to put on it in hopes of getting that customers business at one point in time. Usually there is no sales going on at the place where these promotional items are given away. In fact, the large majority of these promotional gifts are given away at trade centers. There’s a science behind giving away these things. Companies can’t just go willy nilly giving random things away at random times. The timing, sales pitch and item all must be calculated in order to give the company the greatest chances of success.
Even more important than the item given away is how the item is given away. A good sales pitch is an absolute must for any type of promotional sale. Say a company is giving away promotional radios with the logo and name of the company on them. The company that’s giving away the promotional portable radios is a radio station. This is a perfect combination because the product complements the company itself! Customers can literally use the logo shower radios to listen to the radio station. Give them a good sales pitch and off they go.
Logo emergency radios can be used in a completely different away. Oftentimes there are trade shows that are sponsoring emergency companies that make things like first aid kits, safety backpacks and other things. Giving away a cheap emergency radio that has their logo on it is a great way to potentially earn their business. As long as the booth is visually appealing and the sales pitch is good chances are that customer is going to want your business.
These items don’t have to be ridiculously expensive. In fact, cheaper items are often just as effective as more expensive ones. It all just depends on the context of the gift, the company and where you’re giving away the gift. As long as it’s carefully planned out these promotional items are a great way to get your companies name out. Even if you get only a few loyal customers with a few hundred items it can easily be worth it. A customer that buys from a company for years and years can potentially mean tens of thousands of dollars especially when their entire family is taken into consideration.
