Imagine owning a world brimming with life! Inside each EcoSphere ® shrimp, algae, and active micro-organisms co-exist in a clear "soup" of filtered seawater. You never have to feed the life within the EcoSphere ®. All that is required to keep the sphere in perfect balance is indirect light, natural or artificial light will do.
Each sphere is shipped with an instruction booklet, a gorgonia branch, decorative shells, algae for food and oxygen, and 3-4 shrimp. The shrimp included are Marine shrimp with a life expectancy to exceed 5 years, not Brine shrimp or Fairy shrimp which only live a few months. If a sphere is delivered and no shrimp are living, we will send a replacement.
