Raise awareness for infants that will never get a chance to see our world. The March of Dimes has named November Prematurity Awareness Month. Premature birth is the number one killer of American newborns. Between 1981 and 2003, the rate of premature births rose from 9.4% to 12.3%, that’s a 31% increase! Every year, nearly 500,000 babies are born prematurely. Premature babies who survive usually suffer long-term consequences, such as; chronic health conditions or developmental disabilities.
Use pink and blue awareness bracelets to promote premature birth awareness. Help raise the importance of the month of November, by giving away baby inspired stress ball keychains to remind clients and employees of the importance of finding the cause and cure for premature births.
