Sports Eye Safety Month heightens public attention in regards to protecting your eyes while playing sports. Taking precautionary steps to ensure eye safety is pertinent to reducing the risk of getting a debilitating eye injury. Eye protection during physical activity is important because eye injuries can occur at any sport and any age especially when playing basketball, baseball, and racquetball.
You can’t always dodge an elbow to the eye or an overly aggressive opponent. So rather than being paranoid about the possibility of an eye injury at every game, why not just use eye protection? Do you have a corporate sports team or do you work as a coach within the education industry? Provide information and giveaways like sports goggles or a uniquely shaped promotional magnets so your players will have a constant reminder of eye safety on their lockers!
If you don’t protect your eyes, who will?
