Jason Robbins, Founder and CEO of ePromos, was working on the product supply side of the industry when he realized there was a better way to connect the products to the people who needed them most. The solution: a web-based distribution company with customer satisfaction at its core. The result: ePromos.
June 1, 1997 ePromos was founded in June of 1997 by Jason Robbins. The company started out in Jason’s NYC apartment and quickly grew from there. Read more about ePromos’ humble beginnings here.
April 6, 1998 The ePromos website launched, and that’s where our journey really took flight. ePromos.com catapulted our business forward, allowing customers to easily browse our inventory without losing the connection to our Brand Consultants and their extensive knowledge base.
January 1, 2004 ePromos forges into the future as one of the first businesses to use Skype to communicate with clients and staff. It continues to be a pivotal tool keeping all of the branches of our business connected today.
August 27, 2007 The Promo Know-How Blog is introduced to further help our customers choose the best possible products for their branding needs.
January 19, 2008 ePromos wins its first Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) Web Award for technical innovation and e-commerce. Read more about our awards.
May 1, 2010 ePromos.com gets a makeover and a new logo for a more sophisticated look.
September 29, 2010 ePromos makes the Advertising Specialty Institute’s (ASI) list of the top 75 best places to work in the industry for the first time. We have been on the list almost every year since. Read more about our awards.
May 6, 2011 Our first office in St. Cloud, Minnesota opens its doors.
September 18, 2012 ePromos moves to a new office in St. Cloud, Minnesota to accommodate rapid growth from 11 to 40 employees.
June 2, 2014 ePromos introduces ePromos for Good – a charity program that donates $500 in free promotional products to nonprofit organizations every month (any 501(c)(3) organization, accredited school or accredited religious organization may apply).
December 9, 2015 ePromos expands again to a new office in downtown St. Cloud that will accommodate current and future growth. The company is now at 90+ employees. This office is our new headquarters.
June 19, 2017 ePromos acquires assets from Motivators, Inc. Motivators is a long-time player in the promotional products industry. The company was established by Ken Laffer in 1979. The online portal was launched in 1995. Motivators.com and its staff continues to operate under ePromos’ direction at their Westbury, New York location.
