St. Cloud, MN, December 1, 2020 – ePromos LLC, one of the nation’s largest distributors of promotional products and branded merchandise in the eCommerce landscape, extended its hand this month in support of Giving Tuesday.
Every year, the Giving Tuesday St. Cloud, MN, December 1, 2020 – ePromos LLC, one of the nation’s largest distributors of promotional products and branded merchandise in the eCommerce landscape, extended its hand this month in support of Giving Tuesday. Every year, the Giving Tuesday movement encourages organizations and individuals from every corner of the world to band together and “celebrate generosity” by completing an act of service on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving—whether it’s donating their time to a stranger, donating money, or simply making someone smile. To do our part in #GivingTuesday’s global celebration of giving, ePromos made a generous contribution to the Movember Foundation, which is an annual event held in support of men’s physical and mental health. To further ignite the spirit of generosity and camaraderie, ePromos Culture Club held their annual internal Movember contest. Ten of their colleagues grew mustaches and voted on progress and creativity each week, which sparked further awareness for and conversation about men’s health. In addition to their contributions to the Movember Foundation, ePromos gifted a donation to the Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF) on #GivingTuesday, the industry’s nonprofit college scholarship fund. “This year, in particular, organizations have faced unprecedented challenges in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, making the need for collaboration and support more important than ever before,” said Colleen Heikka, ePromos Chief Marketing Officer. “We were grateful to be in the position in 2020 to participate in both #GivingTuesdayNow and #GivingTuesday and encourage our employees to join this worldwide movement. In April 2020, and as part of #GivingTuesdayNow, ePromos commissioned New York artist Chris Riggs to create 16 sustainable pieces of artwork, all of which continue to be showcased on the Chris Riggs Gallery page. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of America COVID-19 Relief Fund to support the families of first responders, essential workers, and to fortify virtual learning platforms for children and teenagers. The goPuff organization matched every donation received, doubling ePromos’ fundraising efforts. “We originally commissioned Chris (Riggs) for a ‘Chris Riggs x ePromos’ collaboration which focused on reducing waste and increasing sustainability”, adds Kimberly Laffer-Nick, ePromos Director of Marketing Communications. “The timing of the project was initially intended for an Earth Day exhibition, and we immediately pivoted to focus on COVID-19 relief. Months later, we still feel we can do more, and #GivingTuesday gives us the platform to do just that. Beyond ePromos’ #GivingTuesday and Boys & Girls Club support, the organization continues to support charities and nonprofits all year long with their ePromos for Good initiative. Bi-monthly, ePromos chooses an organization to receive $500 worth of promotional products to help support their philanthropic efforts. These companies can use the branded items to further expand their platforms and connections, treat their volunteers, and further magnify their voice in local and global communities. “Giving back is part of the #ePromosCulture, says Heikka. “We look forward to lending even greater support going forward.” ABOUT EPROMOS ePromos Promotional Products LLC, has been a leader in the promotional space since 1998, honored yearly with rankings in industry publications such as ASI and Promo Marketing’s Top Distributors and receiving various awards for their technology from the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI).
