NEW YORK, NY, May 20, 2013 — Healing and recovery after Hurricane Sandy takes a community effort, and ePromos Promotional Products, Inc. is committed to helping New York recover from the ravages of Superstorm Sandy. The leading online distributor of custom logo merchandise is donating 200 custom t-shirts to New York Says Thank You Foundation (NYSTY).

The organization, a 100% volunteer-based nonprofit, helps rebuild communities around the country that have been impacted by disaster. ePromos reached out to NYSTY with a gift of custom t-shirts for the team leaders and volunteers who are rebuilding 200 homes of firefighters, police officers and first responders in five boroughs.

“We’re thrilled to provide t-shirts for New York Says Thank You Foundation,” says Jason Robbins, ePromos CEO. “As a New York-based company, we felt compelled to assist in Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. It’s our hope that the t-shirts will raise awareness about the organization and keep volunteers visible as they work to help those in need, as they have helped so many others.”

ePromos designed two versions of the t-shirts: navy shirts for team leaders and grey shirts for volunteers. They were distributed on Friday and worn by the dedicated core team as well as a group of volunteers from Western Carolina University, North Carolina. Their efforts were focused on rebuilding two homes of first responders on Staten Island.
