Challenge: Investment banking firm seeks to grow in-account growth through corporate outing
Barclays Capital, a large investment banking firm, contacted ePromos about an upcoming corporate fishing tournament to which they wanted to attract as many high profile clients as possible: such an event is a perfect opportunity to deepen client-staff bonding and, ultimately, in-account growth. A plain-jane paper invitation wouldn’t do; Barclays needed something unique and memorable, a promotional item that would entice busy clients to attend while repeatedly reminding them of the date as it approached.
Solution: Branded fishing-event-themed promo “lures” client interest
Our promotional specialist recommended several approaches, one of which turned out to be just right: a fishing lure in a promotionally branded, save-the-date case. It tied in well with the event, kept the date in front of clients and—delivered in attractive wrapping in Barclays’ cyan color scheme—packed an invitational punch that no paper invitation could match.
