When you host an event, custom cups are a must. They serve an operational purpose (guests can use them throughout the event to sip their beverage of choice), but they’re also useful keepsakes, reminding recipients of your event long after it’s over.
Our client, SM Associates Construction (SMA), a Minnesota company that offers construction consulting and planning services, recently used promotional cups as customer appreciation gifts.
SMA, along with six other companies, was a contractor for the United Grain Systems (UGS) state-of-the-art grain elevator in Brownton, Minnesota. The seven-million bushel elevator is designed to move massive amounts of corn and soybeans on to 110-car unit trains for direct shipment to the Pacific Northwest and then on to Asia.
“The focus of the facility was to receive grain at high speeds and load trains at high speeds. It was an exciting project for everyone involved,” says Dan Jenniges of SMA.
To mark the completion of the project and to celebrate the opportunities ahead, UGS hosted a customer appreciation day at the newly constructed shuttle-loading facility. SMA and the other vendors came together for gifts for attendees: custom promotional cups.
More than 2,000 people attended, enjoying tours, food and cold drinks in custom cups. ePromos provided corn mugs and acrylic mugs to commemorate the special occasion, and Jenniges says they were exactly the right choice for the audience.
“The corn mugs fit the opportunity for us to provide something to the farmers and patrons of UGS,” Jenniges says, “and the clear acrylic mugs were a good alternative.”
